What is this song about?
I LOVE BELARUS!
Wow... being Belarusian makes you.... what? I'm not sure why Anastasiya Vinnikova loves Belarus so much because she doesn't really say so. There are vague ideas about flying over lakes (furr real) and fields made of gold, but that could be any country.
What's this crap about being "free, friendly and young"? Are there only young people who want to get down in Belarus? Yes honey we know you are all those things but your really limiting your Belorussian demographic when you only cater to cute people.
Singing about national pride is a cliché for Eurovision and it is to be expected. We will always see flags, native dress and hometown shout outs... It can be done tastefully and with sincerity.
Take for example Aremina's entry for 2009, Inga & Anush's song "Jan Jan"
YES! There is no mention of loving Armenia or Armenia is number one, but I feel Armenian when I boogie to this song. It's about the PEOPLE! Everybody move your body, dancing to the JAN JAN! People of all ages, professions and ethnicities are represented well in the video. They even stop dudes walking down the street. "Hey, stop what your doing it's time to JAN JAN!" I love this one! Inga and Anush could have sung this in their native language and it still would have translated.
Still one of my all time Eurovision favorites!
I have some catching up to do! We are close to being a month away to the final! Yippee!

TWINZ!
We are seeing double here at Ameurovisiona! TWO pairs of twins are competing this year in hopes to be Europe's favorite siblings.
First is Ireland's male twin rap pop duo called "Jedward." Get it? John+Edward=Jedward. Genius! Wearing snappy suits combined with their blond quiffs Jedward might be a favorite of mine this year. The brothers are not the best of dancers but darn they look like they are trying hard. This is my kind of cheeky fun and anything would be better for Ireland than Dustin the Turkey.
YEAH JEDWARD!
Now from Slovenia these saucy pleather clad ladies are creatively named "TWiiNS" with two lowercase i's. Or is it ii's? TWiiiiiiiNS is how I say it. DAMN THEY ARE SEXY HOT HOTTIE TWINS!
It would make the song more exciting if they kissed each other during their performance. It's hot when two sexy sister ladies kiss. RiiGHT!?! But Jedward shouldn't. That would be weird... Who am I kidding? I would rather see Jedward suck face.

Live tweets explained! What a good show
I have to say, this years show was amazing. I had a really good time watching it, despite the fact that I was packing up my things and getting ready to move. I should have thrown a party... Never make that mistake again!

Happy Eurovision Day! No party sad face...
Hi everybody. Sorry to say this but there will be no party this year. At least not today.
I am in the middle of moving, seems like all the people who attended last year had to move too. Work has been crazy. I've been going though some emotional blah blah blah.
Still. I will have it on in the background of my packing!
